What’s at Stake
Oaxaca is in a tough spot. Down 0-1 in the series, the Guerreros can’t afford to fall two games back if they want to keep their postseason run alive. A loss here puts their backs firmly against the wall.
Mexico City knows the opportunity in front of them. The Diablos Rojos come in at 1-0 and want to tighten their grip on the series right at home. On the mound, James Kaprielian goes for Oaxaca against Venezuelan righty Ricardo Pinto — a matchup that figures to set the tone for everything that follows offensively.
